Ethan Cartwright

Ethan Cartwright is a recent SFA graduate from the town of Kellyville, Oklahoma. He began at SFA in the fall of 2012 in the Film Department with a dream of being a director. Through the teaching of William Arscott and Brad Maule, he has worked on four feature films and over 50 shorts. In the process he has learned that filmmaking has so much more to offer.

Ethan graduated with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in the fall of 2015, then came back as a grad student to fulfill his dream of writing and directing a feature film. He got that opportunity in the summer of 2016, when he was chosen to write and direct that year's annual summer feature film, Sins of the Fathers
