Be a Volunteer

The Nacogdoches Film Festival has always been dependent on the energy and support of our volunteers. Our festival is a volunteer-driven organization and volunteers are the life blood to our operation.

If you are interested in volunteering before, during or after the Festival, please sign up and let us know how you would like to help. We can use your help.

Here are just a few examples of volunteer help we need:

• Planning (attend our monthly planning meetings)

The Nacogdoches Film Festival (Nacogdoches Art Alliance) is an IRS-approved 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose goal is to raise scholarship money for film students attending Stephen F. Austin State University, as well as to provide financial support for the SFASU Film program’s annual Summer Feature Film production, where SFASU students experience firsthand the making of a full-length feature film. The exact number of scholarships awarded each year, as well as the amount of the donation to the summer feature film production, will be determined by the Board of Directors of the Nacogdoches Art Alliance, dependent upon money available as of April 1 of each year.
